At Mountain BizWorks, we believe in the American Dream. In fact, we see it happen every day.

As the leading small business development organization in Western North Carolina, Mountain BizWorks helps our community's aspiring entrepreneurs achieve their dream of self-sufficiency and accountability. We do this by providing the knowledge and skills needed to begin and grow their businesses.

Our accomplishments are abundant. For instance, in just the first six months of 2007, we served 444 clients who started 76 businesses, expanded or enhanced 126 businesses, created 205 jobs, and sustained 340 jobs.

So that we can offer our effective services at affordable rates, we depend on philanthropy to maintain our budget (i.e. only 23% of the cost to deliver our services is covered by the fees we charge our clients.) Aspiring entrepreneurs in Western North Carolina can receive our services because of individuals like you.
